New York: Random House, 1979. Publisher's original yellow paper-covered boards over black cloth spine, lettered in gilt; pp. (vii), 471. Due to a production error, this copy lacks rear endpapers, with the final page of the novel functioning as the rear pastedown. Else this is a near fine copy in a near fine or better, unclipped dust jacket. The binding remains tight, sturdy and square, showing minimal wear. Similarly, the dust jacket is in particularly nice shape, requiring a fine eye to note any instances of shelfwear, which are virtually nonexistent. A very nice example, with an uncommon production error, protected in archival mylar.
