Contents include: "Negotiations with Indians," "Execution of Treaties," "Fiscal Affairs," "Indian Reservations," "Introduction of Ardent Spirits," "Eduction," "Condition of Indian Tribes," "Census," "Education and Schools," "Condition of the Indians," and "Mission West of the Rocky Mountains."

Washington, D.C.: C. Alexander, Printer, 1844/45. Original brown printed wraps; pp. 205 with numerous tables. Deaccessioned from the Oklahoma Historical Society Research Library, with a catalogue sticker to front wrap, stamp to title page and a inked out catalogue number to first page of text, else quite clean internally wrap. Front wrap detached, wraps show wear and chipping.
